But when I run that script it skyrockets the stats so bad that the game crashes if you try to continue. In that same post there is a cheat table file that manually loads the encyclopedia. Cheat engine also confirms that the pnach file is doing it's job and overriding that disc ID, as I can't change the address value if cheats are on and the pnach is active. I've also tried using cheat engine to manually change that disc ID address and I still get no different outcomes. I've tried the pnach method linked in that post, and in the console output I can see 1 cheat loads when I boot up my game, but when I attempt a disc swap there is never a difference in the gameplay. The game is the same version listed in that post. I've been working through this for a little under a month now and I can't seem to make any progress. I'm trying to follow along with a forum post about adding monsters to the monster rancher 3 encyclopedia, or changing the disc ID so that the disc swap feature can be faked. I'm not sure if anyone out there can solve this, but I'm giving it a shot.
